Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew – a personal thank you

In November 2012, I had the privilege to be commissioned to create Promise – The Bukit Ho Swee Story, a digital story to pay a tribute to Minister Mentor Lee. The story was screened at the Havelock View Community Party on 4 November 2012. MM Lee was the guest of honour.

The feelings I felt then as I created the story are felt even more deeply felt today as I grieve our nation’s loss. This is my personal tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew and the story behind the creation of the Promise – The Bukit Ho Swee Story.

I would like to thank James Seah, the Kreta Ayer–Kim Seng Citizens’ Consultative Committee and the gracious owners of the images used in the story. – Angeline Koh
