Well-crafted digital stories are like potato chips. You can’t stop at one. Digital Storytelling, sometimes called “the baby brother of filmmaking,” opens up the wonderful world of turning non-techie storytellers into novice filmmakers. You could also call Digital Storytelling “the Swiss knife of communication” because there are so many ways you can wield its power.
 
In the face of our global unfolding COVID19 shared history, in the confines of our WFH (Work-from-Home) world, we each experience our own unfolding personal stories. This course is not only about telling your story, but rediscovering who you are and creating your new story.
 
By the end of this course, you will complete and showcase your two-minute digital story.

What is this Course is about?

Part 1, Digital Storytelling Made Easy, will focus on the "storytelling" part of digital STORYTELLING. You will learn to write a great script for the digital storytelling genre.

We take a peek under the hood to understand how to turn your written script into a DIGITAL story. You will complete writing your 200-250 word script by the end of course 1.

Part 2, Video Production for Non-Techies, is not just a course that teaches you tech. I want to help you see “digital” in ways you may have never seen before. By the end of part 2, you will know the how-to’s to create your 2-minute digital story (video).
