Story, Plot and Narrative

Digital Storytelling, sometimes called “the baby brother of filmmaking,” is a non-geek storyteller’s doorway into the wonderful world of turning stories into multimedia. Get handles on the art and science of telling stories for this digital age.

Course Introduction

This FOUNDATIONAL course helps you go beyond relaying what happened to TELLING A STORY WELL. Although called “digital” storytelling, greater emphasis is placed on SCRIPTING. The Digital Storytelling process is useful for:

  • First-person stories (stories told from the storyteller’s point-of-view)**
  • Articulating an Organisation’s Brand Story
  • Team Building
  • And much more

Ready to WOW us?

Your Workshop Project

At the workshop, you will tell a story – it could be a personal story or work related story.

Laugh. Cry. Live.

In the process of creating your masterpieces, you will enter the world of stories where storytellers and story listeners are allowed to enter the mind, heart and emotions of human experience. Be it a personal story or a business story, we are all people who want to relate with people.

Creating your story will bring clarity on Story, Plot and Narrative. You will also understand the process of putting a video together. Even if you are not producing videos, this workshop will provide you with practical knowledge on scripting and video production so you can work more efficiently with media producers/videographers you have outsourced your video projects to.

Your Story Coach

ANGELINE KOH, founder and principal story coach @Tyros Global

"Be it a personal or business story, I love it when I see the spark in my participant's eyes when they showcase their first digital story. I was born in an analogue world – a world of stories and narrative – a digital immigrant discovering a way to thrive in the world of digital natives. Allow me to show you the wonder of both words – DIGITAL and STORYTELLING." <BIO HERE>
